Oil tour with tasting
One of our experts shares his knowledge of the world of olive oil and specifically to the oil from Tonda Iblea… This oil is produced by the company itself (PDO and Organic) and is also produced throughout the Chiaramonte area.
You will learn the organoleptic characteristics of our olive oil, the olive cultivation systems with guided tours of the fields, the description of the oil extraction systems, with particular reference to the decanter system, the oil conservation methodology, the bottling technique and a visit to the storage warehouse.. After an introduction to the company’s olive history and a visit to the museum cellar, we pass to the much-anticipated oil tasting, with olfactory and taste assessment.
The cadence of the courses is weekly. The duration is from 2 to 3 hours.
